2 Hours of Ambient Motorcycling
Просмотров 5 тыс.6 дней назад
Five years of traveling around North America (and one trip to Greece) while filming solo motorcycle trips. I’ve edited them together into one compilation with just the sound of the motorcycle and ambient music to watch while you unwind, sleep, or study. These films were filmed using three types of cameras (a DJI drone, a point-and-shoot, and an action camera).

Lots of love❤
Don't get me wrong, but I watch your video to help me sleep, I do eventually watch the whole thing, but it's so relaxing Iam out cold, not my intention in the beginning
700 miles round trip from NYC? How many days was the trip? I'm planning a similar trip through cornwall Ontario to Adirondacks to NYC.
Great video.😍
Thought provoking, excellent in the manner of Jack Kerouac, well done!
Very long ride, but beautiful sceneries and experiences, specially nature enjoying
Wow! This film is absolutely brilliant. The way Chris seamlessly blends scenes from his other great films into a single, cohesive experience is very impressive. The ambient music creates a wonderful atmosphere, perfectly complemented by the exhilarating motorcycle sounds that make me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action. While I did miss Chris' baritone voiceover and his masterfully written scripts, the visuals and soundscapes more than makeup for it. Perhaps that's something Chris might consider and we can look forward to in a future video. This is a must-watch for any film enthusiast! Bravo Chris, Bravo! 👏👏👏
Umm 2 hours of Chris Ironhardt Triumphness? Yes please!
Hope my dream to be a motorcycle rider will become true. It looks like a great video as always Chrish.
What is that button on the left hand grip you keep hitting with your thumb?
Beautiful video. It brings back many memories. I've been to Nova Scotia 8 times by motorcycle, starting in 1984 for my Honeymoon. I took a 70lb dog(!) along on the back seat 5 times, and took my sidecar 3 times with my daughter and wife. I agree about how warm and open the people are. Total strangers would invite us to join them for dinner when they saw there was a line. The Bluenose Rally in Kentville, sadly no longer held, brought together riders of every brand and walk of life to celebrate a common interest. If you go again, budget time to attend the Tatoo in Halifax. It's a gathering of military marching bands from all over the globe that will blow your socks off. Take the ferry from Pictou, NS to Woods Island, PEI, and visit the Anne of Green Gables Museum. Bob
Great video and content! I'm rediscovering my backyard and those drone sequences add so much to the experience. Thx for sharing.
brilliant time for another one by now, how are you enjoying the Guzzi so far
Magnificent. And I really needed to watch this today, so thanks for that.
EPIC❤
I ride that skinny strip along Crescent Beach to the LaHave Islands 3 or 4 times a week…just because it’s so beautiful. Excellent editing! Well done.
Just bought a Moto Guzzi V7 Stone... shoulda sprung for a Bonnie.
Got my license at 47 - just something I felt like doing. Seems to help my ADHD as I'm not able to think too much so my mental problems clear up. Seems to help, and I like adventure and just like being different.
I got into motocross riding in the 80’s after watching the movie Winner takes all. I didn’t get my license until 2001 when I was 30.
Thats one stunning Bonneville 🙌🏻 Love your video.. again!
Riding is a journey through the different stages in your life, ive been through them all, dirt track racing, cross country racing , sport bike , cruiser, and now at 69 a tour bike, its all good. Two back operations, two cancer operations, and my main concern through them all was ....will i still be able to ride..... So i exercise, weight train, whatever it takes to get past the pain so i can stay in the saddle , i just keep riding.
My father was a military motorcycle police in world war two, i was around ten years old when he started to teach me slow manuvers on a old triumph 250 tiger cub. Im 69 its in my blood , deep down in my soul . I may go a few years without the fever hitting me hard, but it always returns. It hit me about three months ago so i took the old electra glide i bought new 17 years ago out for a ride hadn't ridden it much in the last few years so took it to the dealership and told them to go through it and make any necessary repairs. I know this fever will be with me for a while, once it comes back it lasts several years. I never completely stop riding, just go short rides until this uncontrollable urge hits. Its a passion, a blessing really. To be able to hold on to something that gives pleasure ,and freedom to a weary soul. I'll ride until i die ,or cant get my leg over the saddle. Been binge watching channels like yours untill i get it back, seems to give this old rider a connection until my old friend returns. Thanks for sharing your ride.
Watching your video in my office free time 🕰️, Love from INDIA 🇮🇳
The sound of the triumph is so much part of the ride, the music is a distraction. I usually will not watch with music but your introduction to riding was very interesting. Thank you.
At 2:00 no rear view mirrors on that motorcycle !
That left thumb checking the indicators incessantly. Good habit.
My dad had a vespa 50 scooter. It sat in the garage for 2 years untouched after he passed away. When I was 15 my little brother and his friend tried to get it running. To my surprise it ran well. So unfortunately for my brother I took it and did my licence on it. I am now 61 and just recently bought a beautiful 2016 CB1100EX. It's about my 45th bike and most likely will be the last. It is just the perfect bike for me now. If I'm too tired to ride, I can still enjoy polishing it and looking at it. But riding it is a pure joy. It's not all there is to life but it really helps you forget the day to day grind.
That is very beautiful sir CB1100 EX
Just another excellent Motorcycling video Chris, keep them coming when you can please, I just completed a 3 day road trip with 13 mates from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney Australia down our South Caost to a town called Cobargo in NSW, it's winter here but the weather was kind and we had a great trip.👍
A very well done overview of motorcycling in Nova Scotia. I first travelled the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island in 1968 on my new BSA Lightning 650. The view from your Triumph brought back some great memories of that ride. At 76 I hope to do one more trip around the Trail .Being from Cape Breton I must say you captured the spirit of the Islands scenery.
Thank you for your video. Well done, again !!! Why does your left thumb touch the turn signal button often? (I do that as well .... OCD). CHEERS. looking forward to the next one.
Haha I knew someone would eventually notice that... I do not even notice I do that while riding (but always notice it while video editing). I don't have too many OCD tendencies but that is definitely one of them. I never want to be that guy driving with his turn signal blinking for miles...
I don't know how your video came up in my feed at this moment, but I want to thank you for sharing your journey with the world. It was exactly 10 years ago (to the day!) that I did the exact same trip from NY to the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. The other coincidence: I did it on the exact same Bonnie! 😁 I've traveled around the world numerous times, and that road trip on my motorcycle is still one of the best (easily in the top 3) I've ever taken in my life! Those memories will be with me till my dying day. Thank you again for reviving that glorious 2 week trek for me! 😃
Wow cool to hear you've taken the same trip. What a tremendous part of the world and love to hear that it competes vs. the rest of the many places that you've traveled.
Excellent videography. Nine year old Bonneville. Like that.
Your Colorado video inspired me to get out there for a epic four day ride on my drz400, best ride of my life by far, awesome content chris👍
I got my license last year, im 41 years old, im in my second bike, a meteor 350, royal enfield. It has changed my life, somehow is like a escape from this weaky society...greetings from Brazil!
You're by far my favourite moto vlogger, film maker, writer. I can just immerse myself in them. Beautifully made. I just wish you'd make more, but I'm sure they're a huge investment of time and energy!
Thank you! That means a lot. And yes they are certainly a lot of work, but I hope to make more whenever I can find the time
I love your videos man. They capture riding very very well. I will play the story game. My Dad rode from 18 until he had me in his 30s. Then he hung it up until I was 15. Once he got back on a bike, I did enjoy riding on the back. Always fun. That was a seed. I also was always interested in airplanes, and eventually went on to get my license. There is crossover there, at least in my mind (operating machinery, freedom, beauty of the machine, etc). Motorcycles really took hold though when my buddy bought a little TU250. He let me ride it around a parking lot. That was the first time I rode anything motorized with two wheels. And that was it for me... I was completely hooked and bought my first bike (83 Suzuki 400) soon after that.
Thanks for sharing! I agree there is a lot of crossover with flying - definitely something I am hoping to get into in the future
Another great video Chris. Well done you!
Cheers, thanks!
awesome visuals, great words. you never fail to impress. 👌
Thanks Kartik!
cool video! Wich saddlebags are this? :-) nice bike by the way!
Motogs waterproof saddlebags. I got them on Amazon but doesn't look like they are currently available.
@@ChrisIronhardt Thank you! :-)
Steve McQueen in "The Great Escape"! Bought my first Triumph in'72. Been riding Triumphs every since. Currently ride a 2022 Street Twin 900 & actually priced a new Speedmaster yesterday...
Nice, thanks for sharing! Hopefully the 2022 Street Twin is more reliable than your 72
It's probably the best Yank video I've seen. Yeah, sure, you guys have to talk through it, but at least you had something to say. I liked it.
Your opening words sum up the appeal of riding a motorcycle. Well said..
“Grateful for another year of riding.” Amen! I’m 68 and just got my 10th or 11th bike 😎
Wow❤
Is it the Moto Guzzi V7's unique, balanced, and personal riding pleasure that inspires thoughtful introspection on life through returning to nature...?! 😳
This is a very enjoyable motorcycle trip video especially you'd telling every bit of that and this and one of the best part is that you brought us to see your home you'd live in your childhood, I love that memorable you've had. I enjoy so much as this really make my day up high. One thing so sad is when that bike was fall down to it's side and surely create some scratches onto it a beautiful brand new bikes got scratches what a tragedy ‼️thank you for uploaded this for public and I love it very very much, please if you can make another long trip video with your beautiful bike again and again because many of your fans are waiting to see and joining along with you trillingly. Lots of love just for you💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
